Summer At Your Library: June 1 through August 31, 2025
Summer At Your Library is right around the corner. This year’s theme is Level Up at Your Library, and all ages are welcome to join the fun. See below for more details for each age group!
Kids Summer Reading
From birth to 5th grade
(para niños edades 0-11)
- Pick up a free book, bag, reading log, and calendar of events.
- Color in one space on the reading log for each day that you read or listen to a book between June 1 and August 31.
- After July 15, turn in the log to get another free book!
- When you turn in your reading log, you can also pick up an optional bingo card to keep the fun going with summertime activities.
- If you complete a bingo, bring your bingo card back to the library for a small prize!
Teen Summer Reading
Grades 6-12 (jovenes en grados 6-12)
- Pick up a free book, bag, reading log, bonus activity log, and calendar of events.
- Either complete the reading log for each day that you read or listen to a book between June 1 and August 31 OR complete the bonus activity log by leveling up all 6 characters to the max level.
- Once you’ve completed either log, bring it back to the library for a free book and entry into the teen prize drawing. If both logs are completed, get a bonus entry into the prize drawing.
- Pick up an optional bingo card to keep the fun going with more summer activities! These can be turned in for an additional entry into the prize drawing. Limit one per teen, only after a log has been completed.
Summer @ Your Library for Adults
Ages 18 and older (para adultos)
- Pick up a free bag and reading log.
- Track your days of reading and activities completed to earn points.
- Earn at least 10 points to claim a free book and be entered into the prize drawings (maximum of 60 points / 6 entries).
- Return your log by September 10th to be eligible for the prize drawings!
